Sparta - Fiberglass Statue Mold Yard
Some of the strangest things you might see on your roadway travels are very large figures or objects standing near freeway off-ramps or in front of buildings. Everyone stops to have their picture taken, so you can say "I was here". But where do they come from?
They come from FAST - also known as Fiberglass Animals, Shapes, and Trademarks Corporation, 14177 County Highway Q, Sparta, Wisconsin.
So when you visit Sparta, be sure to take a trip to their Statue Mold Yard and see all the incredible creatures and designs they have made for both road side attactions and theme parks. Admission is free, and it open during daylight hours.
Check out roadsideamerica.com for a great story and video with Company President Jim Schauf.
