Bratfest!

The World's Largest Festival to the ultimate Wisconsin meat product!

It's Bratfest in Madison this weekend - May 27th to 30th at Willow Island – Alliant Energy Center.

And the best part about Bratfest isn't the food (which is great) or the music (about 30 bands), or the fun (see the Budweiser Clydesdales, rock climb, carnival, kayaking, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, fireworks and more). It's the charities who benefit from all the work the volunteers do to bring you this festival!

Don't forget Friday May 27th - TAKE YOUR BRAT TO WORK DAY 6AM–9AM

Join all the festivities May 13th to May 15th including: an architectural treasure hunt, historical walking tours, the Nova Caves, vintage autos, high-wheel bikes, geocaching, a river Cruise, sociability run and more.

The Ice Age Trail

The huge glaciers of the the last ice age 10,000 years ago left quite an imprint on Wisconsin - and you can see it today by following the Ice Age trail.

The Ice Age trail is the terminus, or bottom edge, of the last glacier in Wisconsin. This trail is nearly 1200 miles long in total, although only about 600 miles are actually marked. Because it crosses the entire state, a section of the Ice Age trail probably isn't too far from where you live.

A great family adventure, and a great way to enjoy nature and learn a little about Wisconsin. For more details about the trail, maps, store, and events or to learn how you can volunteer to keep up the trail visit The Ice Age Trail Alliance
