Wisconsin farmland values well above national average

Wisconsin farmland values are still much higher than the national average, new data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows. The value of the state's farmland with buildings averaged $3,750 per acre, down 3% from 2007 but 79% higher than the $2,100 per acre average for the nation, according to the USDA.
