Wisconsin Archaeology

Are you curious about the lives of Native American tribes who lived here before this was Wisconsin?

Head to the Horicon Marsh International Education Center May 4th and 5th 10AM-3PM to experience Dirty Kettle and friends at a Buckskin encampment.  Hear stories, check out a teepee, try some fry bread, learn to throw a tomahawk, grind some corn, make a corn husk doll and much more.

For event information visit the Rock River Archaeological Society blog events page Archaeological Weekend - May 4 and 5

For directions to Horicon Marsh check out the Wisconsin DNR website Horicon Marsh Wildlife Area
